A Perfect Portage Pal
Well engineered and sturdy. Light and compact. Was at first put off by what seemed to be a rather non robust construction, but our first portage involved almost 2 1/2 miles up and down a 300 ft. bluff on the upper Hudson. Steep, washed out trails were strewn with boulders, cobble, and deadfall logs. After banging our 50 lb.. kayaks through the woods for what seemed like an eternity, the wheel carts were in much better shape than we were. The right tool for the job.

What a relief!
This sure beats carrying the boats, but it's also a better design than a similar device we've had for a few years. I think the cradle helps, but the hook that latches into cockpit (kayak) or gunnel (canoe) is the key. We haven't tried it in deep sand, but it was a breeze to attach and to roll over grass, curbs, bumps, light sand, etc.

It's awesome. Stores easily on the kayak, hauls across sand, rocks etc. I used to carry my kayak on the shoulder but those says are over.

This is a great product. I purchased it to use with my 16' canoe, and it has worked great. It attaches securely, and it works over rough terrain on inclines and declines, and remains in place. It is light and compact, easy to carry about and easy to store. I highly recommend!

This is the perfect set of wheels for my 14.5 Hurricane Kayak. Hauls great over any surface and is simple and easy to attach. I most love that it fits in my back hatch inn case I don't want to leave it at the launch site

Great kart
This kayak kart rocks! Easy to use, lightweight, durable and rugged. Had mine for over four years and had no problem. The red hook sleeve slides a little but is easily slid back over the hook. Great buy for the money and easily stows in the bow hatch.
